ICEBREAKER

The design of the craft is by Scott Robertson I referenced his rough sketches and developed the design. It took about a 2 days to model craft, day to model pilot and another day for environment getting it to look just right. Rendered in 3Dmax with Vray, textures painted with bodypaint, photoshoped after to colour graded and painted details.

This image has been awarded the CG Choice Award by CGsociety for outstanding artistic ability in the field of digital art. It also is featured in the CG choice gallery. Also received 3dtotal excellence award and is featured in the scifi gallery. Image has been published in the gallery of 3D world magazine.
