THE THIRST

I wanted to recreate original painting by william adolphe Bouguereau Thirst 1886 in 3D. Modeled in Maya, uved in maya & UV layout, rendered in mental ray and comped in Nuke. Hair was created with a mixture of cut & shave and modeled mass mapped with textures applied. Scene was lit with a dome light rig to create , no GI was used.
